Brett, a Prison Reading Group member at HMP Bullingdon wrote: ‘If I had to choose a book that I deemed more important in my life than any other, then I’d pick Danny, the Champion of the World’. He writes of his memories of his teacher reading to him at school, and of how memories of reading with his own son are sustaining while he is in prison.
